Our Core Value: Building Sustainable Projects

At Lunar Mines Africa, we value sustainability and strive to incorporate it into every project we undertake. Our focus is on adopting sustainable approaches that increase productivity while also reducing carbon emissions, giving full support to surrounding communities by engaging in sustainable economic drivers.

To this end, we have partnered with other organizations to carry out a pilot project aimed at reducing emissions and monetizing inground assets. The Mahina Gold Mine Project focuses on replacing the use of mercury and tree logs by artisanal miners.

In addition, we have acquired 100,000 hectares of land in Mwanga Kilimanjaro & Geita for carbon offset credits, which will fund the program and support other sustainable approaches toward mining development, food security, and renewable energy among local communities.
